The purchase of the unlimited commercial usage and performance rights for PA system or for TC systems (separate licence in each case) is a one-off fee of €45.90 (incl. 7% VAT) per download or €49.90 (incl. 7% VAT) per CD.

How long are the licences valid?

The licences for PA systems and for TC systems (separate licences in each case) are valid for an unlimited period of time.

I have 12 branch offices - how many licences do I need?

Licensing is always tied to one location. If you want to use the same production(s) at different locations, you need a licence for each location.

What do I do in the event of a GEMA or others inspection?

You will receive a licence document (release document) from Highland Musikarchiv. This licence has proven its worth in GEMA or others controls for many years. As a rule, it is sufficient if you can present a simple copy of the licence on site. In the event of a written request from GEMA or others, we recommend sending a simple copy of our release document to GEMA or others.

What happens if I move my business?

In the event of a change of location, we offer you a transfer of the existing licence free of charge. Please note that this ends the validity of the licence for the original location.

May I copy the music material in the form of a copy into technical systems for PA system or store it there?

Yes. As soon as our music is licensed for PA system use for you, you may store the music in file form on other data carriers (e.g. CD/DVD copy, hard disk storage, etc.). 

I use BeschallungPRO powered by Highland Musikarchiv for PA system. Since customers also like the music,

Am I allowed to do that?

Our ROYALTY-/GEMA-/AKM-/SUISA-free music is licensed for the respective purpose. If you wish to use it for purposes other than PA system, the appropriate licences are required, e.g. for soundtracks for audiovisual productions.
